Our group started as a research group at Universität Hamburg, as part of Prof. Grüner’s and Prof. Hillert’s group for accelerator physics. Both UHH and DESY have a decade-long history of successful collaboration in the field of accelerator physics, forming a strong and fruitful partnership.

We greatfully acknowledge the collaboration with many DESY groups on campus, especially MPA led by Jens Osterhoff, and many technical groups, whose expertise in building modern accelerators is essential to our work.
